Dr Fiona Solomon has been the CEO of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative since 2015, working to build and grow ASI since its inception.  She has worked in sustainability research and initiatives for just under 3 decades.  As a mechanical engineering undergraduate student, she had a scholarship with Comalco Smelting in Australia and spent 4 summers working in aluminium smelters and mines.  Her work with the aluminium value chain has effectively given her an opportunity to give back to the sector.  She has a PhD in philosophy of technology and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
