FAQs for Exhibitors

No, ALUMINIUM 2021 will not take place. The next ALUMINIUM World's Leading Trade Fair will not start again until 2022.

Many companies in the global aluminum industry continue to feel great uncertainty and are affected by travel restrictions. Due to these after-effects of the Corona pandemic, the ALUMINIUM world's leading trade fair in Düsseldorf cannot take place as planned from September 28 to 30, 2021. After a reassessment of the situation, we have therefore decided, together with our partners, not to start ALUMINIUM again until the fall of 2022. An international event like ALUMINIUM is not feasible under current circumstances. The expectations that you as exhibitors, but also our visitors, partners and we have of the industry's leading trade fair cannot be met this year under these conditions.

Due to the mutual impossibility and force majeure, Reed Exhibitions Germany declares as a precautionary measure the cancellation of the existing exhibition contract as well as other contractual relationships of ALUMINIUM 2021. Regarding the individual handling, your contact persons from Sales will contact you in the coming days.

No. The contract and payment obligations are no longer binding. This applies to all exhibitors who had signed a contract for ALUMINIUM 2021, regardless of whether they have already cancelled or not.

Exhibitors will be refunded all payments made up to this point for the booked exhibition space, the stand construction packages (if applicable) and the booked sponsorship services (if applicable). Only the marketing services will remain in effect. Exhibitors must provide their bank details to initiate the refund.
