Welcome, Paul Voss!

European Aluminium has a new Director General as of the end of March 2022.

European Aluminium is one of the conceptual sponsors of ALUMINIUM and a long-standing partner of the trade fair. We are pleased to welcome Paul Voss, as new Director General of the Association. Paul Voss succeeds Gerd Götz, who will retire at the end of March after almost a decade at the helm of the association.

Paul Voss joins European Aluminium from Euroheat & Power, the association for the European district energy sector, where he acted as Managing Director for the past eight years. Mr. Voss is a long-term public affairs and governmental relations expert with 20 years of experience in Brussels and the energy sector. Paul Voss has studied in Canada, France and Belgium and holds a master’s degree in European Public Policy.

“Reconciling the twin imperatives of environmental sustainability and the maintenance of a strong industrial base will be one of Europe’s most important tasks during the coming years and decades, and we fully embrace our responsibility to help make it happen”, says Paul Voss.
