Bar ohne Namen

The ALUMINIUM trade fair is one of the world's leading platforms for the aluminium industry and offers our company the unique opportunity to present our latest innovations to an international trade audience. We can also make valuable contacts and maintain expand existing business relationships.
And there is more: the shareholder of the apt Group - the Mengtai Group - has acquired the Alu Menziken Group. The purchase is still subject to official approval and is expected to be completed in August. This acquisition offers apt and Alu Menziken great opportunities for growth and innovation by combining their complementary market approaches and strengths. This will be visible at the Aluminium Trade Fair 2024 with a shared stand in Hall 4 (4F39).
Expectations of the ALUMINIUM 2024 trade fair
We expect the ALUMINIUM 2024 trade fair to provide valuable impulses and inspiration for our company. The goal is to identify new business opportunities, learn about innovative technologies and strengthen our competitiveness. The exchange with industry experts should help us to shape the future of the aluminium industry together.
Main objectives of our trade fair participation
The focus of our participation is on maintaining existing business relationships and acquiring new business partners. We want to explore potential collaborations and expand supplier relationships. In addition, dialog with other market participants is important to us in order to learn about current developments and trends in the industry at first hand.
Innovations and key aspects of our presentation
We will be presenting several pioneering innovations at the ALUMINIUM 2024 trade fair. In the automotive/transport sector - one of apt's core markets - we will be presenting our patented, super-lightweight LiteFlap and components for e-mobility.
The focus is also on our multi-part, patent-registered heat sink solution, which apt has developed due to the increased requirements in power electronics. These modular high-performance heat sinks offer high thermal conductivity with reduced material consumption and have an excellent sustainability balance due to the 100% recyclability of the material.
Assessment of the current situation in the aluminium industry
The aluminium industry is currently characterized by many challenges, but also offers numerous opportunities. The growing demand for sustainable materials and the increasing importance of the environmental service branch are driving the industry forward. At the same time, we are facing challenges such as rising material prices, stricter environmental regulations and difficult economic conditions in Germany. We must use these challenges as opportunities to strengthen our market position through innovative solutions. In a global context, the European industry needs an environment that enables economically sustainable work.
Topics and challenges in the aluminium industry
Key issues in the industry are the sustainability and environmental compatibility of production, the digitalization and automation of manufacturing processes and global competitiveness. It is crucial that we as an industry work together to find ways to successfully overcome these issues in order to meet the high demands of our customers. In addition, economically viable political framework conditions are necessary in order to be able to work competitively and sustainably on a long-term basis.
Expected technical developments in the competitive environment
In our competitive environment, we expect technical developments that will revolutionize the aluminium industry. These include advances in alloy technology, the development of new, lighter and more stable materials and the integration of artificial intelligence into production processes. Green technologies such as the inert anode are crucial to making aluminium production climate-neutral. These innovations will increase the efficiency and sustainability of aluminium production and open up new market opportunities.
With these expectations and goals in mind, we are looking forward to the ALUMINIUM 2024 trade fair and look forward to sharing our visions and innovations with the industry and shaping the future of the aluminium industry together.
