Bar ohne Namen
Enhanced efficiency and energy savings thanks to durable band saws and minimal chip waste. Perfectly suited for aluminum cutting production.
August Mössner GmbH + Co. KG will showcase its comprehensive range of solutions for the aluminum industry at the "Aluminium" trade fair in Düsseldorf from October 8 to 10, 2024. This includes sawing, testing, and handling aluminum products.
Mössner offers a versatile range of saws for processing T-bars, rolling slabs, plates, blocks, and billets. These saws are distinguished by their robust construction, precise cutting performance, and long-lasting band saw blades.
Mössner's bar saws are in operation worldwide and are tailored to meet specific customer requirements, reliably cutting rolling and T-bars. This technology is utilized in both primary and secondary aluminum production.
“Our experienced team handles planning, development, assembly, and commissioning. With 125 years of mechanical engineering expertise, our customers appreciate the turnkey delivery of our systems worldwide,” says Christian Kunz, Managing Director and Sales Manager at Mössner.
Mössner’s bar saws are available in various configurations. The bars are fed according to customer needs, for example, via a downender. Heavy-duty shuttles transport the bars to the sawing area or alternatively store them in the designated buffer area. Modern handling systems and an automated disposal system for scrap, head, and foot cuts enable nearly autonomous operation. After weighing and marking, the processed rolling or T-bars are ready for removal.
For producing plates of varying thicknesses from a single bar, Mössner horizontal saws are ideal. They produce precise cuts in various sizes, minimizing the need for additional milling and providing customers with more marketable material.
“With our turnkey, fully automated plate production, which also includes milling, foiling, and handling steps, our customers are always one step ahead,” explains Oliver Vogt, Product Manager for the Aluminum division at Mössner.
Mössner also offers other innovative products for aluminum processing: • Contour saws • Vertical block saws with optional band saw rotation • Round saws for producing aluminum circles • Plate circular saws • Saws for the aerospace industry • Conductivity testing systems
